Dr. John Gottlieb conducted the interview with Victor Fishman in Chicago, IL from August to December 1993. Dr. Gottlieb donated the interview to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1994. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the interview from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Oral History Branch
