United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Acquisition

Esther Gitman, 2007 CAHS fellow, donated this collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on March 8, 2007. She collected this material as part of her research into the rescue of Jews in the independent state of Croatia.

Scope and Content

Consists of photocopies of names lists of Croatians who converted to Roman Catholicism in 1941, as well as one names list of Holocaust survivors, compiled by the Jewish Community of Zagreb.
