Acquisition

The identification card was obtained by Ephraim Holland immediately following the Holocaust. Ephraim Holland donated the material to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1995.

Scope and Content

The identification card was issued by the Arbeitsamt-Getto to Hersz Fischel (donor's uncle) to authorize his labor exchange in the ghetto in Łódź (Litzmannstadt), Poland.
