Acquisition

The photographs were taken by Engineer Corporal William Martin donor's uncle during the liberation of Dachau after World War II. Frandi Meryl Lipton donated the photographs to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1945.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of a photograph of the crematorium at Dachau concentration camp at liberation and a photograph of the kennel at Dachau at liberation.
