Biographical History

Raymond Soycher left Poland in 1932 and immigrated to the United States via Cuba. Josef and Laja Sojcher perished during the Holocaust. Josef Sojcher's brother, H. Sojcher, was living in Belgium with his family and survived the Holocaust.

Raymond Soycher donated the papers to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1994.

The papers consist of a postcard to Raymond Soycher in New York, N.Y., from his parents, Josef and Laja Sojcher, in Warsaw, Poland, and a postcard to H. Sojcher in Brussels, Belgium, from his brother, Josef Sojcher, in Warsaw.
