United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Acquisition

Dr. Alfred B. Sundquist donated these photographs to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Oct. 4, 1994. His daughter, Sandra Durfee, completed the donation in 2005.

Scope and Content

Consists of 130 photographs taken upon the liberation of the Woebbelin concentration camp; photographs of the citizens of Ludwigslust, Germany, burying the victims of Woebbelin and participating in a funeral ceremony; and photographs of survivors in the Dillenberg, Germany, displaced persons camp.
