United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Acquisition

Agnes Strubel donated this collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Sept. 16, 1993. The photographs were taken by her late husband, Joseph H. Strubel. As the Museum was unable to locate the donor, the collection was accessioned as abandoned property on Mar. 11, 2005.

Scope and Content

Consists of 42 photographs taken by Joseph H. Strubel, a member of the United States Army, upon the liberation of the Ebensee concentration camp.
