Acquisition

The photographs were gathered by Chaim Pacowski Herman Rothberg while living in the Föhrenwald displaced persons camp in Germany from 1945 to 1948. He donated them to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2004.

Scope and Content

The 33 photographs were taken in the Föhrenwald displaced persons camp in Germany after World War II. Many of the photographs have captions on the verso.
