Scope and Content
Collection of badges, bars and shoulder patches stored in a cloth and leather bag belonging to Charles Lavering, member of the 305 and 309 Ordinance Battalion, received during his service in World War II. Military badge with silver iron cross-shaped medal with two attached bars hanging below with "Carbine" and "Rifle." Verso has pin back and marked "Sterling."
