Acquisition
The photographs were created by James Baker, an American soldier, during the spring of 1945 at Nordhausen concentration camp. The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by James Baker in 1992.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of photographs depicting Nordhausen concentration camp at liberation in 1945. Handwritten captions in English are on verso.
