Acquisition

The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by David Hersch in 1990.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of three photographs depicting a group of Jewish forced laborers wearing yellow armbands in Dej, Hungary, (now Romania) in 1943; David Hersch wearing his concentration camp uniform; and Hersch's sisters with their children in Dej in 1943.
