Acquisition

Brad Skala's father acquired the photographs while serving in the United States Army in Europe during World War II. He donated them to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2004.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of three photographic postcards depicting a death train at Dachau concentration camp. Captions in English on the verso were written by the [donor's mother].
