United States Holocaust Memorial Museum collection, gift of Ralph and Marilyn Grunewald

Mr. Ralph and Mrs. Marilyn Prooth Grunewald donated this collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on Mar. 25, 2002. Mr. Michael Prooth was Marilyn Grunewald's great-uncle.

Scope and Content

Consists of post-war correspondence and forms related to the restitution claims of Michael and Hilde Prooth, including information regarding Michael Prooth's experiences in the Wulzburg concentration camp and Hilde Prooth's experiences in the Theresienstadt ghetto.
