Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
From the T︠S︡entralen dŭrzhaven arkhiv (Central State Archives), Bulgaria, Fond 77-102; 104-107; 109-118; 120-139. Collections previously had been organized and stored by the Communist Party of Bulgaria.The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project in Apr. 2004.
Scope and Content
Records of 12 operative zones of the partisan detachments reporting to the staff of the zone of operation. Includes orders, appeals, lists of partisans, war diaries, activity reports etc. Also contains post-WWII memoirs by veteran Bulgarian communist partisans.
