Acquisition
Helen Ross sent this photograph to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Unfortunately, Mrs. Ross passed away before the Deed of Gift paperwork was finished. Her daughters, Estelle Ross and Milla Ruane, completed the donation on Sept. 11, 2006.
Scope and Content
Consists of a photograph of a fifth anniversary commemoration of the destruction of the Jewish community in Nowy Dwór, Poland. The photograph depicts a large group of people holding a banner and was taken in the Pocking, Germany, displaced persons camp.
