Acquisition

Original records are located in the Wiener Stadt-und Landesarchiv, Vienna, Austria. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives Project received the microfilm in Jan. 2003 (11 reels) from the Yad Vashem through its mutual microfilm exchange program.

Scope and Content

Contains records of Jewish organizations disbanded by the Nazi administration after the Anschluss in Austria in 1938. Includes records of religious and secular organizations.
