Acquisition

Original records are located in Schweizerisches Sozialarchiv, Zürich. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives Project exchanged the microfilms from the Yad Vashem Archives in Jerusalem, Israel. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilms in Feb. 2002.

Scope and Content

This collection contains materials on Jewish refugees in Switzerland who were helped by the Swiss Labor Assistance. It also contains a 1260-card registry of persons who were in contact with the Swiss Labor Office from 1933 to 1945.
