The cup was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2002 by Annette Krygier, the sister of Albert Groner.

Scope and Content

The cup was created by Albert Groner donor's brother while in Pithiviers concentration camp in France. It is engraved with an inscription and an image of a flying bird carrying an envelope in its beak. Albert gave the cup to his family when his sister, Rosa Groner, held her wedding at Pithiviers.The cup was hidden by a French woman during World War II
