Scope and Content
The medal was awarded to Nahman-Leib Neumann Itzicovici donor's paternal grandfather for his service in the Romanian Army during World War I.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
The medal has a cross-shaped body of metal. On the recto at the center of the cross is "1916/1918." On the verso is an image of a crown above a stylized "F." At the upper center of the body is a ring with blue-and-green striped ribbon. Attached to the ribbon are two metal plates that read "MARASTI/MARASESTI."
