Acquisition

Records originate from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Humbold University in Berlin). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Archives Project exchanged the microfilms from the Yad Vashem Archives in Jerusalem, Israel. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilms in Aug. 2001.

Scope and Content

Contains documents, mostly from the 1930s, deriving from various bodies and faculties of Humboldt University, concerning the status of Jewish professors and students. Includes financial and administrative files pertaining to antisemitic activities at the Humboldt University.
