Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Archivio Centrale dello Stato (Central State Archive), Italy, the group of records “Archivi Fascisti”. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project Division in 2001.
Scope and Content
Contains records from the private secretary of Benito Mussolini (Duce). Included is information about Mussolini’s correspondence; Jewish communities in Verona, Rome, Milan, and the occupied territories; racial policy; the Protocols of the Elders of Zion; and the ministries of finance, war, and education.
