Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Arhivele Naţionale ale României (Romanian National Archives), Bucharest. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection from the Romanian State Archives via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 1993.
Scope and Content
Contains reports, lists, memoranda, and other documents relating to the surveillance of Jewish communities in the Romanian provinces, Also contains records of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers dealing with the "Jewish problem."
