Acquisition
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the Cahiers du camp de Drancy (Drancy Camp Files) from the French National Archives in summer 2000.
Scope and Content
This collection contains daily records of inmate arrivals and transfers to and from Drancy. These records form part of the records of the Seine Police Prefecture and the Drancy, Pithiviers and Beaune-la-Rolande camps, also known as the “Jewish files.”
System of Arrangement
The files are arranged numerically by notebook and chronologically within each notebook. Notebooks 5-9 are on microfilm roll 1, and notebooks 10-15 are on microfilm roll 2.
