From Record Group R 1501, Reichsministerium des Innern, Bundesarchiv Berlin, Germany. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International programs Division acquired the microfiche from the Bundesarchiv in Berlin, Germany in 1999. The Museum Archives received microfiche in Sept. 2000.
Scope and Content
Contains records relating to various activities of the German Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs from 1919-1945. Includes files relating to the formation of policy regarding the administration of the annexed and occupied territories, the relations between the state and the NSDAP, as well as files from the office of the minister and the offices of his deputies.
System of Arrangement
Record Group R 1501 Reichsministerium des Innern, organized: File 1-3365. Please note: In the process of reproduction, the Bundesarchiv assigned wrong information on the header of the fiche. Instead of R 1501, the microfiche are labeled R 18. In order to correlate the finding aid to the microfiche, 5000 needs to be added to the file number on the microfiche: e.g. R 18/185 can be found as R1501/5185 in the finding aid.
