Acquisition

The document was aqcuired by Rolf Wartenberg during his service as a senior interrogator of case #9, the Einsatzgruppen, at the Nuremberg trials. It was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collections Department in Dec. 1991.

Scope and Content

Consists of a 1940 order signed by Heinrich Himmler establishing a special court in Munich for the relatives of SS and German police personnel.
