Dragoslav Jurisich

Acquisition

"The Melon Rind" is a chapter in Dragoslav Jurisic's autobiography, "Icons of life." He sent a copy of the chapter to Anthony DiIorio, then of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Oral History Department in Aug. 1992. Dr. DiIorio, in turn, passed the work on to United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. At the time Mr. Jurisich signed a Donor Agreement with United States Holocaust Memorial MuseumA (01 Mar. 1992), "Icons of life" remained unpublished.

Scope and Content

Contains information about the childhood experiences of Dragoslav Jurisich in Yugoslavia and his observations of Serbs subject to persecution in Croatia in 1941.
