Original letter dated 23 Oct. 1992 and attached diagram of a barrack at Ohrdruf were created by the donor. He sent them to Elizabeth Koening, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Library Director, and included copies of two pages from the book "Inside the Vicious Heart," which he had annotated concerning his own recollections of the scenes depicted. Ms. Koenig forwarded these materials to the United States in Oct 1992 and Mr. Calabrese signed a Deed of Gift for them the following month.
