Biographical History
Lisa Rosenblum was arrested and imprisoned at Drancy by the Vichy police on 07 Oct. 1943. She was deported to Auschwitz on 28 Oct. 1943 via convoy number 61. She perished while in the camp.

Acquisition
The letter was written by Lisa Kouchelevitz Rosenblum during her deportation to Auschwitz via convoy number 61. The letter was delivered to her surviving family members along with a French translation after World War II ended. The letter was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives in Apr. 1992 by Edouard Rosenblum via Bernard Kouchel.

Consists of a letter in Yiddish (one page with text on both sides), written by Lisa Kouchelevitz Rosenblum during her deportation from Drancy to Auschwitz on convoy number 61 in October 1943.
