Biographical History

Clara (Chaje) Horowitz was born 29 Nov 1914 in Czortkow, Poland. Along with her husband, she elected to spend the years of the Holocaust in hiding. At the end of World War II, the Horowitz family entered a displaced persons camp, where they lived for five years before immigrating to the United States. Clara settled in Brooklyn, New York.
