Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Lietuvos centrinis valstybės archyvas (Lithuanian Central State Archives), Fond 1742/1. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilm reels in July 2000.

Scope and Content

Contains reports, personal files, and legal documents relating to the escape of the president, Antanas Smetona form Lithuania, the Jäger Report on Einsatzkommando 3, and Lithuania's cultural relations with the Soviet Union.
