Acquisition

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the Lietuvos centrinis valstybės archyvas (Lithuanian Central State Archives), Fond R-1216/1. The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilm reels in July 2000.

Scope and Content

Contains German Sipo reports, as well as information relating to the Marijampole, Mazeikiai, and Zarasai districts; the persecution of Roma and Sinti; Jews in Lithiuania; and the transfer of stolen property.
