Source of acquisition is the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), RG 84.The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 1998.
Scope and Content
Contains information about relations between the United States and the Polish government in exile in London. Subjects include underground activities in Poland, relations between Poland and the Soviet Union, and relations between the London and Moscow Polish leadership.
System of Arrangement
Arranged in four series: 1. General Records, 1940-1944, Reels 1-14; 2. Mission near the Polish Government, supplemental general records, 1943 ( first part of reel 15); 3. Mission near the Polish Government, classified general records, 1942-1945 (end of reel 15 through start of reel 20); 4.Top secret records, 1942-1945 (second part of reel 20). Arrangement is chronological (National Archives and Records Administration, Record Group 84).
