Acquisition

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received copies in Czech and in English of "Chronicle of Jews from Nove Mesto nad Vahom II," "Chronicle of Jews from Nove Mesto nad Vahom," and "Origins and establishment of a Jewish high school in Nove Mesto nad Vahom in 1863," from Fred Deutsch on Dec. 28, 1998.

Scope and Content

Contains testimonies by Arthur Klein and Rudolf Huber about the Jewish communities in Nove Mesto and Zarosice, Czechoslovakia during German occupation. Includes translations of the texts created by Fred and Leon Deutsch.
