Source of acquisition is the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), RG-242, National Archives Collection of Foreign Records Seized, 1941-. This collection represents a small portion of the whole NARA collection, and contains the complete set of Einsatzgruppen Reports, 1941-1944. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received copies of the microfilm (NARA microfilm publication T992) via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies in 1999.

Scope and Content

Contains the complete Einsatzgruppen reports ("Erignismeldung UdSSR" and "Meldungen aus den besetzten Ostgebieten") dating from 23 June 1941 to 1944. Copies of reels 233, 234, 235, and 236, from NARA microfilm publication T175. Virtually complete; only number 158, 21 January 1942 is missing.
