Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Slovenský národný archív (Slovak National Archives); copies were purchased by Richard Lankford (the Embassy of the United States of America, Bratislava).United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Programs Division on October 26, 1998.
Scope and Content
Contains photocopies of documents, photographs and architectural drawings relating to the establishment of the labor camps in Sered, Novǎky, and Vyhne, Slovakia, the incorporation of Jews into the camps, and the function and structure of the camps. Also included is an English-language essay on the camps.
