Acquisition

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received this collection from Judy Solway on April 8, 1998. Judy Solway, a representative of Congregation Hakafa, acquired the letters from the Belorussian Association of Jews: Former Ghetto and Nazi Concentration Camp Prisoners. Judy Solway sent the original letters and translations to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives on Nov. 3, 1998.

Scope and Content

Contains English translations of letters from individual survivors describing the ordeals that they experienced in the Minsk ghetto or as partisans hiding in the forest during the Holocaus.
