Acquisition

Herta S. Fellner received the memoir after the deaths of her sister, Trude Stern Binder and her husband, Eugene Fellner. She gave them to the Registry of Jewish Holocaust Survivors which transferred them to the Archives in December 1997.

Scope and Content

Contains Trude Stern Binder's memoir which describes her escape from Austria to Zagreb,Yugoslavia, life in an Italian refugee camp, experiences in Auschwitz, and reunion with her sisters in New York in 1946.
