Renee Schick donated a copy of this memoir to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1993. Ms. Shick was acting as a literary agent for Ms. Naor. The published version of "Krankengymnastin in Auschwitz" can be located in the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Library at RM699.7.N36 A3 1986. Ms. Schick also donated an English language summary of a portion of "Krankengymnastin" to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, which is located as 1997.A.0169 and is entitled "80574." Scope and Content
Consists of a typed memoir, in German, by Simha Naor (born Stella Silberstein, 1899-1994), originally of Vienna, Austria. The memoir, 238 pages, is based on Ms. Naor's journal, which she wrote shortly after her liberation from Bergen-Belsen, and which included information about her work in the hospital in Auschwitz. The memoir based on this draft was published in 1986 as "Krankengymnastin in Auschwitz: Aufzeichnungen des Haftlings, Ausgabe 80574."
