United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Jason Finkel

Jason Finkel donated these photographs to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2012. He believes he obtained these photographs from a Czech SS officer in France in 1944.

Scope and Content

Consists of five black and white photographs depicting wartime burial of corpses by German personnel and others. The majority of photographs may have been taken on the eastern front. Also includes one photograph of emaciated male prisoners, also seemingly wartime.
