Acquisition
The Dotržćina Project, operated by the Croatian State Archives (Hrvatski državni arhiv) from 1980 to 1985, created 6,500 dossiers, in which data from many archives in Zagreb and Belgrade were combined to compile a dossier on each victim. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection from the Croatian State Archives (Hrvatski državni arhiv u Zagrebu) in Zagreb, Croatia, via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project in 1995.
Scope and Content
Contains files and name lists of Yugoslavian Jews persecuted and murdered during World War II. The dossier on each victim includes details of each person’s life and place of death.
