Acquisition

These materials were copied and collected by Helmut Eschwege in various European archives while he was researching for a book that he was writing. They were given to the USHRIA in 1990.

Scope and Content

Contains copies of documents relating to the confiscation of property from Dr. Albert Einstein, Kurt Grossmann, and two German Jews who fled Nazi Germany. Also includes records from a synagogue in Leipzig, Germany.
