Biographical History
Paya Rosenzweig (Paja, née Cwilich b. 1914) was born in Tyszowce, Poland to Mandel and Chana Cwilich. During the war Paya fled Poland to Siberia taking Russian passports. At some point, Paya ran into the forest and was one of 17 who survived and was sent to forced labor in Siberia doing maple sapping. After the war, in 1947, Paya married Naftali Rosenzweig (b. 1911) who was born in Zamosc, Poland to Israel and Jochewet Rosenzweig and worked as a joiner. They lived in the Landsberg am Lech displaced persons camp and had three children: Israel (b. March 14, 1948), Srulik (b. May 11, 1949), and Chana (b. February 17, 1951). In 1951 the family immigrated to the United States.

Anna Crane donated her family's collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2012.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of post-war documents relating to the family of Naftali and Paya Rosenzweig while they were living in the Landsberg am Lech displaced persons camp between 1949-1951. Included are immunization cards for Naftali, Paja, and their children Israel, Chana and Srulik as well as birth, marriage, and ORT certificates from the camp and naturalization certificates for Naftali and Paja after their immigration to the United States.
