The flag was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2014 by Tara Barenok, the great-niece of David F. Busch.

The flag was retreived by PFC David F. Busch, an American soldier who was stationed in Europe during WWII. The flag is possibly from the liberation of Plzen in 1945.

Paper flag printed on both sides with blue, white and red segments. Overall discoloration and staining. Edge of flag has some adhesive residue and lifting.
