Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Archivio di stato di Ancona, Italy (State Archives of Ancona). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s International Archives Project in January 2013.

Scope and Content

This collection contains records relating to a census of the Jews, racial laws, Jewish businesses, publishing houses, and companies, refugees, and the Jewish community.

System of Arrangement

Organized in two series: 1. Prefettura; 2. Questura.
