Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Archivio di Stato di Ascoli (State Archives of Ascoli Piceno). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archives Project in Jan. 2013.

Scope and Content

Contains records from the Cabinet and Police Headquarters of Ascoli from 1938-1944 relating to census of the Jews, racial laws, Jewish internees, concentration camps.

Arranged in two series: 1. Cabinet records; Police Headquarters records.
