Archival History

The Wehrmacht helmet was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2010 by Trudy Stanton, the widow of Don Stanton.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

Metal helmet (possibly 2 separate helmets), received with one inside of the other. Exterior helmet (black) with red soviet star on front and white circle with black swastika on right side of helmet and a white and red emblem on the left side. Interior helmet (green) has metal sizer attached inside and exterior has a silver swastika visible on left size.

Inside front of black helmet - 164 / 2669. Inside rear of green helmet - 1645.
