Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Instytut Pamięci Narodowej-Komisja Ścigania Zbrodni przeciwko Narodowi Polskiemu, Poland, Sygn. GK 165. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the IPN via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in July 2012.
Scope and Content
Selected materials related to concentration camps Bełżec, Treblinka, Chełmno, Majdanek, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Płaszòw, and Gross-Rosen; ghettos in Warsaw, Siedlce, and Limanowa; and the labor camps for Jews in Poznań: testimony of witnesses and suspects, photographs, postcards, letters, certificates of death, travel passes, texts of prayers, staff lists, lists of ex-prisoners, documents of Poland’s military mission in London, daily reports of the Leiter des Ordnungsdienstes (Head of Order Service) of the Warsaw ghetto.

Records are arranged in the original order of their acquisition from the source archive. The museum has acquired only selected records from Institute of National Remembrance (Instytut Pamięci Narodowej-Komisja Ścigania Zbrodni przeciwko Narodowi Polskiemu, or IPN).
