Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Magyar Országos Levéltár, MOL (Hungarian National Archives), Record Group MOL K 150. Records created by the Magyar királyi Belügyminisztérium (Hungraian Ministry of Internal Affairs). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in June 2006.
Scope and Content
This collection contains records concerning anti-Jewish legislation in Hungary, the legal foundation for the activities of German agencies there, the exemption of some individuals from anti-Jewish measures, instructions to various levels of public administration regarding Jewish matters, the processing of passports, repatriation, disciplinary actions, and grievances. It also includes records of steps taken to protect Hungarian citizens living abroad.

The system of arrangement of the source repository has been preserved in the microfilmed reels.
