Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Arhivele Naţionale ale României (Romanian National Archives), Iaşi branch. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from the Romanian National Archives, via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s International Archives Project in 2012.
Scope and Content
This collection consists of 1,350 files containing questionnaires with families of Jewish victims of the Pogrom of Iaşi, death certificates, interviews with survivors, hospital release forms, Jews in forced labor in the Iasi area, birth certificates and other family records.
