Oval, bronze colored metal medal with a blue ribbon; medal has a spade with a swastika and two shafts of wheat at handle. There is German text on the back. The edge on both sides is decorated with leaf pattern. The ribbon is attached to hoop throughloop at top of medal; ribbon is blue, folded into a triangle
